Dogtooth check waistcoat made from vintage Harris tweed jacket – size XL, 46″ chest

Outlander-style waistcoats made from vintage Harris tweed jacket.
The tweed is a dogtooth weave in blue, brown and grey, with 2 patch pockets and one top pocket.

We dis-assembed the jackets and dry cleaned the tweed before re-making as a close-fitting waistcoat, lined in linen, with a lace-up back to adjust the fit.  Each waistcoat is individual, no two the same.

This waistcoat is an extra large to fit a 46″ chest, up to 44″ at tummy level.
This garment is 2 sizes too big on our model (who is a medium)- best we could do!
