Men’s linen shirt in 18th century style – small blue check

£70.00

We have only a few of these shirts in blue tiny check Irish linen.
Nice roughish linen with a distinct slub, good for pirates and artisan characters. Washes well.

Colour is shown best on the folded shirt in the last photo, bluer than it looks on our model.

This linen mans shirt is cut to an historic pattern with the front and back cut as a single piece. It features neck and underarm gores, and gathering at the wrists and sleeve head. Also a piece running across shoulder for strength (see photo).

The front slit opening closes with a button at the collar and another button 4 inches below.
The cuffs are fastened by buttons. The shirt goes on over the head and the collar can be worn up or folded back.
