These 18th century style breeches are made in beautiful quality off-white wool from Hainsworth in Yorkshire who are specialists in military cloths, both for re-enactment and for current ceremonial costumes, a lovely tight weave with a silky smooth finish.
I use vintage corozo nut buttons.
This shade gives an immediate Regency look as it pairs well with strong coloured waistcoats and jackets. Easy fit style that suits women too. Also popular with performers who need a lot of movement as there is no inside leg seam – each leg of these breeches is cut in one piece. So very comfortable for fencing, dancing etc.

Worn on the waist at navel level – so measure yourself at this point rather than using your trouser size.
The back tie allows for adjustment of waist size.

Adjustable waist size:
– XS fits 28″ to 31″ waist
– Small fits 31″ to 34″ waist
– Medium fits 34″ to 37″ waist
– Large fits 37″ to 43″ waist
– XL fits 41″to 46″ waist

Regency style 18th century mans fall front breeches with adjustable waist size:
– 2 buttons to hold up the fall front
– 2 buttons to secure the waistband at the front
– 3 buttons at each outside knee
– tie at outside knee
– ties at back waistband with a cotton tape that can be loosened to allow for a larger waist size
– when the back tie is loosened the gap is covered by a gusset
– 2 pleats either side at centre back
