This is a really dressy waistcoat, a vintage style waistcoat made in the rich colours of black and gold, a top quality wool mix cloth. The weave is known as as “birdseye”, this is a beautiful cloth. The waistcoat back and lining is in a smooth black 100% cotton poplin that barely creases.
There is a back belt to adjust the fit, to give a smooth silouette.
The waistcoat front has 3 front pockets and fastens with 6 front shank metal buttons.
The XS is priced cheaper as it was an earlier sample and is made with a gold linen type lining.
