Wool waistcoat, lined in linen, lace up back, 2 flap pockets – Outlander style – size XS only
Wool waistcoat with flap pockets and darts below each pocket, as 18th century waistcoats were made. Lined in natural linen, with a “tongue” of cloth down the centre back, as backing for the lace fastening.
9 to 10 front buttons (depending on size) with leather thong lacing to adjust fit at back. The sizing is slightly smaller than our usual pattern – loosen back lacing for an exact fit.
Cloth is sand coloured cavalry twill – a vintage wool cloth used for horse riding – strong with a bit of stretch. Good on both men & women – add a brown leather belt for the Outlander look.
The waistcoat is soft, warm and comfortable, a great bodywarmer.
