High waist trouser in black wool with very fine stripe, button fly and brace buttons – all sizes

An English-made wool fabric, black with a very fine stripe in the weave.

It is a medium weight so very wearable, a top quality wool cloth that barely creases and is very soft and comfortable.

Styles similar to this were worn from late 19th century to the 1950’s.  With button fly, side pockets, brace buttons and a swallow tail back, the trousers have no waistband, they sit above the waist at navel level and require braces to keep them up (not included).  Leg shape is slightly tapered.

When making the trouser we close the back waist last, allowing for a little alteration – either let out or slimmed in to fit the wearer.

We suggest you measure round the body at navel level to determine your size, these trousers are not like a modern trouser!

The inside leg length is an unfinished length of 33″. We will hem your trouser if you are confident the waist measurement will fit you – we will charge an extra £10 to do this.
